Information concerning children
CoLearn accounts are created and managed by adults. Children may not create accounts or submit personal information directly.
Parents and guardians may provide limited information about their children when completing a family profile or registering for an experience. We ask families not to provide more information than is reasonably necessary.
We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information directly so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
COPPA applies to online services directed to children under 13 and to other services that knowingly collect personal information from them. CoLearn’s adult-account structure should be reflected consistently in both the written policy and actual app design.
How information may be shared
We may share information:
-
With service providers supporting hosting, payments, email, analytics, security, and app operations
-
With a business, professional, or experience host when necessary to fulfill a registration or requested introduction
-
With other members only when you have authorized the connection or sharing
-
To address a safety concern, policy violation, suspected fraud, or emergency
-
When required by law, court order, or lawful government request
-
During a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of business assets
We do not sell family contact information to advertisers.
Photos and media
Public use of an identifiable child’s image requires separate permission from the parent or legal guardian.
Permission to share an image privately with participating members does not automatically grant permission to use it publicly for marketing.
Data retention and security
We retain information only as reasonably necessary to operate CoLearn, complete requested services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, protect safety, and meet legal obligations.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No digital system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting:
hello@colearncollective.com
Certain information may be retained when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link provided. Account, billing, safety, and transactional messages may still be sent when necessary.
Cookies and analytics
CoLearn may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website and app, remember preferences, understand use, improve performance, and measure outreach.

CoLearn Family Membership Terms
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
These terms apply to monthly and annual CoLearn Family Memberships offered by SeekingSTEM LLC, doing business as CoLearn Collective.
Eligibility and household use
The purchaser must be at least 18 years old and authorized to purchase a membership for the household.
One Family Membership covers members of the purchaser’s immediate household. Membership may not be shared with unrelated households or transferred without written permission from CoLearn.
Membership access
Membership may include access to:
-
Local business experiences
-
Trusted professional connections
-
CoLearn family circles
-
Member resources and recommendations
-
Community requests and introductions
-
New opportunities as CoLearn grows
Membership provides access to the CoLearn network. It does not guarantee a specific number, frequency, location, or type of experience, introduction, professional, event, resource, or circle.
Availability varies according to county, capacity, scheduling, host participation, family fit, and current local relationships.
Billing
Monthly membership costs $24 per month and renews monthly until canceled.
Annual membership costs $240 per year and renews annually until canceled.
By purchasing, you authorize CoLearn and its payment provider to charge your selected payment method at purchase and at each applicable renewal until cancellation.
The price, renewal frequency, cancellation terms, and material restrictions should also appear clearly at checkout—not only inside this longer agreement. Federal consumer-protection guidance emphasizes clear recurring-charge disclosures, informed consent, and a straightforward cancellation mechanism.
Additional costs
Some experiences, products, events, or professional services may require additional payment.
Any additional fee will be disclosed before registration or booking. Membership does not include fees charged independently by businesses or professionals unless expressly stated.
Family responsibility
Parents and guardians decide whether any person, business, location, service, activity, or experience is appropriate for their family.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
-
A parent or guardian must remain present
-
The parent or guardian is responsible for supervision
-
CoLearn does not provide childcare
-
CoLearn does not assume custody of children
Independent businesses and professionals
Businesses and professionals participating in the CoLearn network remain independent.
CoLearn does not employ, manage, supervise, insure, or control their independent operations. A review, interview, listing, badge, recommendation, or introduction is not a guarantee of performance, compatibility, safety, availability, licensing status, or outcome.
Families remain responsible for performing any additional review they consider appropriate.
Account responsibility
Members must:
-
Provide accurate information
-
Protect account credentials
-
Notify CoLearn of suspected unauthorized access
-
Avoid sharing private member information
-
Use the platform only for lawful, authorized purposes
Suspension or termination
CoLearn may limit, suspend, or terminate access for conduct that:
-
Creates a safety or privacy concern
-
Harasses, threatens, or mistreats another person
-
Repeatedly disrupts experiences or relationships
-
Misuses member or partner information
-
Violates CoLearn policies
-
Creates fraud, legal, operational, or reputational risk
Serious concerns may result in immediate action. When appropriate, CoLearn may first communicate with the member and allow an opportunity to respond.
Changes
CoLearn may update membership features, availability, and policies as the network develops.
Members will receive reasonable notice of material changes. A new recurring price will not be charged without any notice or authorization required by applicable law.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
Monthly memberships
Monthly memberships may be canceled at any time through the member’s account or by contacting hello@colearncollective.com.
Cancellation prevents the next monthly renewal. Access generally continues through the end of the billing period already paid for.
Members must cancel before the next renewal date to prevent the next charge.
Annual memberships
Annual memberships may be canceled at any time.
Cancellation prevents the next annual renewal. Access generally continues through the end of the annual period already paid for.
Canceling an annual membership does not convert it into a monthly plan or create an automatic prorated refund.
Refunds
Membership payments are generally nonrefundable once a billing period begins.
CoLearn does not ordinarily provide refunds or account credits for:
-
Unused membership time
-
Missed experiences
-
Scheduling conflicts
-
Relocation
-
Limited availability in a particular area or period
-
Failure to complete onboarding
-
Failure to cancel before renewal
-
Removal resulting from a policy or safety violation
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Billing errors
Contact hello@colearncollective.com within seven days if you believe a charge resulted from:
-
A duplicate transaction
-
A payment-processing error
-
A previously confirmed cancellation
-
Unauthorized use of your payment method
CoLearn will review the transaction and respond based on the available records.
Separately purchased experiences
The cancellation and refund terms for a paid experience may differ from membership terms.
Any experience-specific cancellation deadline, refund rule, substitute policy, weather procedure, or nonrefundable host cost should be disclosed before registration.
Online subscriptions should offer a practical online cancellation method and promptly stop future billing after an effective cancellation. New Jersey consumer-enforcement actions have also focused on clear renewal information and functioning cancellation mechanisms.
Family Safety & Participation Policy
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
CoLearn creates access to relationships and experiences. Parents and guardians remain the primary decision-makers for their families.
Adult responsibility
Unless an experience expressly states otherwise:
-
A parent or legal guardian must attend
-
Adults must supervise their own children
-
Children may not be dropped off
-
CoLearn does not provide childcare or assume custody
-
The attending adult is responsible for transportation, medical needs, behavior, belongings, and emergency decisions
Evaluating fit
Families are responsible for reviewing available information concerning:
-
The host and location
-
Physical demands and environmental conditions
-
Tools, equipment, animals, food, allergens, or materials
-
Accessibility
-
Clothing or footwear requirements
-
Age recommendations
-
Photography
-
Transportation and parking
-
Any known risks or restrictions
A family should not participate when it believes an experience is unsuitable for its child or household.
Health and medical needs
Families are responsible for carrying necessary medications and communicating information reasonably required for safe participation.
CoLearn and participating hosts are not medical providers. In an emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service first.
Participant conduct
Adults and children must:
-
Follow reasonable safety instructions
-
Respect private, restricted, and working areas
-
Use tools or equipment only when authorized
-
Treat hosts, professionals, families, animals, property, and community members respectfully
-
Avoid conduct that creates a foreseeable risk to others
A host or CoLearn representative may end a participant’s involvement when conduct creates a safety, operational, or privacy concern.
Background reviews and vetting
CoLearn may interview, review, or verify information about participating professionals and businesses.
No screening process can eliminate every risk or guarantee future conduct. Parents and guardians retain responsibility for deciding whom their family interacts with.
Reporting concerns
Non-emergency safety concerns should be reported promptly to:
hello@colearncollective.com
Include the date, location, people involved, and a factual description. CoLearn may document, investigate, restrict access, contact relevant parties, or refer a matter to authorities when appropriate.
CoLearn Community Standards
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
CoLearn exists to create relationships. Community access depends on members protecting the trust that makes those relationships possible.
Expected conduct
Members, professionals, and business participants must:
-
Communicate respectfully
-
Honor personal and household boundaries
-
Keep commitments or communicate changes promptly

Protect confidential and identifying information

Follow host, platform, and experience rules
Prohibited conduct
The following are not permitted:

Harassment, threats, bullying, stalking, or intimidation

Discrimination or targeted degrading conduct

Sexual harassment or inappropriate communication
-
Sharing private messages, screenshots, addresses, phone numbers, schedules, or family details without permission
-
Impersonation or knowingly false information
-
Fraudulent registrations or account sharing

Spam, unsolicited mass promotion, or aggressive recruiting
-
Scraping, copying, compiling, or commercially exploiting member information
-
Using CoLearn access to bypass boundaries or pursue unwanted contact
-
Conduct that endangers a child, family, host, professional, or business
Selling and promotion
CoLearn may provide appropriate spaces for businesses and professionals to share relevant services.
Members may not use family circles, private information, or direct messages for unsolicited sales, recruiting, fundraising, political campaigning, or repeated self-promotion.
Privacy between members
Being part of the same circle does not authorize a member to publicly disclose another family’s identity, participation, conversations, photographs, or personal circumstances.
Ask before sharing.
Enforcement
Depending on the concern, CoLearn may:
-
Provide a reminder or warning
-
Remove content
-
Restrict messaging or participation
-
Remove someone from an experience or circle
-
Suspend or terminate access
-
Preserve records or report suspected unlawful activity
CoLearn may consider severity, context, history, safety, cooperation, and impact when deciding how to respond.
Experience Registration
& Attendance Policy
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
Registration
Registration is required for each participating household unless an experience states otherwise.
Members must provide accurate attendance numbers and register only household members they intend to bring.
Registration is not transferable to another family without permission.
Capacity and waitlists
Experiences may have limited capacity due to space, host operations, safety, age range, or the nature of the work.
Access may be offered through:
-
First-come registration
-
Waitlist order
-
Age or household fit
-
Invitation
-
Application
-
Host-established requirements
Membership does not guarantee placement in every experience.
Parent or guardian attendance
Unless expressly identified as a drop-off experience, a parent or legal guardian must remain present and supervise participating children.
Cancellations by families
Families should cancel as soon as they know they cannot attend so another household may be invited.
Experience-specific cancellation deadlines will be displayed when applicable.
Paid host costs or nonrecoverable expenses may make some registrations nonrefundable.
Late arrivals
Experiences take place inside real businesses and working environments. Late arrivals may interrupt operations or miss required safety instructions.
Entry after the scheduled start time is not guaranteed.
No-shows
A no-show occurs when a family holds a confirmed space but neither attends nor cancels before the experience.
After three no-shows, CoLearn may temporarily restrict advance registration, require waitlist-only booking, or request a conversation before restoring normal access.
CoLearn may consider emergencies and documented exceptional circumstances.
Host or CoLearn cancellations
An experience may be changed, postponed, or canceled due to weather, illness, emergency, safety, insufficient registration, business operations, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
When CoLearn collected a separate experience fee, the applicable refund or rescheduling option will be communicated. CoLearn is not responsible for unrelated transportation, lodging, missed work, or other personal expenses.
Conduct and removal
Participants must follow safety instructions and respect the host’s property, staff, customers, equipment, animals, and working environment.
CoLearn or the host may remove a participant whose conduct is unsafe, significantly disruptive, or inconsistent with stated expectations.
Photography
Photo and media practices will be communicated when relevant.
A family may decline optional public marketing use without losing membership. Some hosts may prohibit photography entirely due to privacy, safety, or business operations.
